EEIP actively participates in projects jointly investigated with Charles University in Prague and other public institutions in the Czech Republic. Currently EEIP is investigating the three projects funded by the OMEGA program from the Technology Agency of the CR (TACR):

Project description: The outcome of the project will be a standard unifying the publishing of public procurements towards public institutions but also the flow of suppliers e.g. via third party services. For both groups it will enable systematic collection and deployment of this data. This is above all true for small-scale tenders (approx. 50% of all tenders), where central collection of data has not so far been done due to its high – that are partially eliminated by the standard.

Project description: The aim of this project is the development of economic and mathematical methods and procedures applicable in the Czech legislative process as part of the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) and the development of the Corruption Impact Assessment (CIA) methodology for the Czech Republic. An integral part of the project is also elaboration of basic study materials for persons who prepare RIA and CIA. The methodologies and study materials should help to make the RIA elaboration in the Czech Republic more efficient and also introduce the elaboration of CIA. The aim of the project is expected to be reached by the end of the year 2013.

TD010137 – System evaluating competitiveness of exports of goods and services

Project description:
The project will develop new indicators evaluating competitiveness of Czech exports of goods and services in connection with the International Competitiveness Strategy 2012-2020 and Export Strategy. In cooperation with Ministry of Industry and Trade, the project will create a system for continuous monitoring of existing and newly developed indicators so that Czech economic policies can be better targeted at increasing export promotion efficiency and improving international competitiveness.
