EEIP is one of the leading consulting companies in the field of energy and utilities in the Central Europe. For almost twenty years of its existence, EEIP has been involved in the most important energy transactions in the Czech Republic.

EEIP was a part of the consultancy consortium involved in the sale of Transgas and eight gas distribution companies to RWE Group. It was the most successful privatization in the history of the Czech Republic, which achieved the largest revenue from the privatization in energy sector in the Central Europe.

EEIP acted as a financial advisor for privatization of Unipetrol, the third largest privatization transaction in the history of the Czech Republic. EEIP was also involved in the successful sale of certain Unipetrol Group liabilities in the possession of Czech Consolidation Agency (CKA).

EEIP participated in the acquisition of Nafta Gbely, the only Slovak company offering gas storage and related services, by the RWE Group. This investment was at the time of its completion the fifth-largest investment in the Slovak energy industry in history.

Other significant transactions in the energy field in which EEIP advisory services played a key role include the acquisition of chemical plants Sokolov, privatization of LPH or restructuring of Spolana.

Besides participating in the most important energy transactions in the region is exceptionally EEIP position in the energy consulting given primarily by the long-term cooperation with RWE Group. After the successful privatization of the Czech gas industry followed EEIP collaboration in the form post-acquisition advisory. EEIP monitors continuously developments in energy markets and evaluates the impact of these developments on the commercial activities of RWE Group.
