ADRs and GDRs are the instruments of corporate financing at foreign capital markets. Most frequently they are the best tool for issuers (businesses) from immature developing markets to reach the international liquidity of a larger emission. The international ADR or GDR offers usually lead to an increase in the price of the underlying shares and boosts liquidity at the domestic market.
