Health Care

Health care is currently one of the most discussed subjects in the Czech Republic. On the one hand there is a pressure build on the quality, range and availability of medical care, on the other hand, these aspects are limited by the availability of funds. The main problem which is discussed by the professional community is to ensure sustainable, effective and long-term stable operation of the health care.
EEIP prepared (within the project “Investing in Health in the Czech Republic – Is it possible to increase the healthy life of citizens of the Czech Republic for two years in 2020? And can we afford it? “) study summarizing and evaluating the basic facts about the development of the indicators in the health sector in the Czech Republic and analyzing data on current scientific studies on the health status of the population. Furthermore EEIP participated in several transactions in mergers and acquisitions.
