Prague Congress Centre (KCP)
At the turn of 2019 and 2020, EEIP in cooperation with di5 architects, engineers s.r.o. elaborated a study verifying the economic and project-technical solution for the construction of a new exhibition hall of the Prague Congress Center (KCP).
EEIP experts analyzed in detail all the economic contexts of the potential construction of a new exhibition hall that is projected to be built on the southern flank of the Prague Congress Center. Based on verified data, they developed an economic model of the project, while analyzing in detail all costs, revenues, potentials and risks associated with the realization of the project. A part of the project consisting of verification of the design and technical solution of the building has been prepared by the partner company di5 architects and engineers.
The final conclusion, according to which EEIP recommends the realization of the investment project, was subsequently presented by EEIP experts to the representatives of the shareholders of Prague congress Center (i.e. the Capital City of Prague and the Czech Republic through the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic). At the subsequent General Meeting, the project for the construction of a new KCP exhibition hall has been approved for realization.
With the project of the new exhibition hall, EEIP followed up on the previous successful cooperation with KCP dating back to 2012-2013. At that time, EEIP drew up a unique Financial Restructuring Plan, which significantly contributed to its debt relief and helped to ensure company’s long-term profitability. EEIP has also elaborated an Analysis of the Use of the Prague Congress Center and a company’s Long-Term Development Plan. Already in these materials from 2012-13, EEIP mentioned the construction of a new exhibition hall as one of the possibilities for further medium- or long-term development.
