EXPLOSIA
In 2016, EEIP drafted a plan of long-term development of EXPLOSIA a.s. the company owned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MPO CR). EXPLOSIA is a company producing explosives and providing services in connection with application of energy materials for civil and military use. EXPLOSIA is a major player in the sector of ammunition and explosives at the Czech market and is also an important exporter, predominantly to EU countries, former Soviet Union countries and Arabic countries.
The plan of long-term development included an analysis of financial and operational data of THERMAL-F, drafting a plan of measures aiming to improve performance of the company, compiling and analysis of financial forecasts and performance of the private investor test.
As a part of its services, EEIP also prepared necessary documentation and further assisted MFCR in its negotiations with the Czech Office for the Protection of Competition (the Czech Antimonopoly Office) related to the restructuring plan, i.e. evaluation of the restructuring plan with respect to state aid pursuant to Articles 87 and 88 of the European Community Treaty (EC Treaty).
