Eastman Chemicals

On February 21, 2000, Eastman Chemicals announced the completion of acquisition of Chemicke zavody Sokolov (now Hexion Speciality Chemicals), the largest producer of acrylates in the Czech Republic, from the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic.

EEIP acted as the financial advisor of buyer, Eastman Chemicals in this transaction, which was the only approved Czech non-bank privatization of a large company in 1999.
