RIA for the Water Act (2008)

In 2008 EEIP prepared a large RIA on the Water Act Amendment (Act No. 254/2001 Coll.) for Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. EEIP analyzed and measured regulatory impacts of the Act in seven different areas and the effects of transposition of EU Directives (2007/60/ES and 2006/118/ES) in the Czech legislation. As a part of large RIA, EEIP completed detailed analysis of the current state in water use regulation and water protection, as well as the complex quantitative assessments of impacts of the regulatory steps proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Environment.
