Projects of financing and restructuring
GDR – Global Depository Receipts
ADR's and GDR's are an instrument of corporate financing at foreign capital markets. Most frequently they are the best tool for issuers (businesses) from immature developing markets to reach international liquidity of larger emission. American and Global depository receipts, respectively, provide companies with the possibility to be quoted on advanced bourses (London Stock Exchange, NYSE, NASDAQ) without the necessity to fulfill all conditions required by the respective market for quoted shares, or to offer the share to institutional investors present at the markets. The international ADR or GDR offers usually lead to an increase in the price of the underlying shares and boosts liquidity at the domestic market.
