Acquisition of Chemické závody Sokolov by Eastman Chemicals
On February 21, 2000, Eastman Chemicals announced completion of acquisition of Chemicke zavody Sokolov, a.s. (dnes Hexion)(now RSM CHemacryl), the largest producer of acrylates in the Czech Republic, from the Fund of National Property. EEIP acted as the financial advisor of buyer, Eastman Chemicals in this transaction, which was the only approved Czech non-bank privatization of a large company in 1999.
