EEIP offers its clients professional consulting services in analyzing legislative and regulatory framework. A unique EEIP position is given mainly by the long experience in this area, excellent knowledge of the domestic environment and cooperation with the renowned law firms.
Among the major clients of EEIP belong domestic and foreign government institutions. EEIP is active in the of consulting for domestic ministries and public authorities. Among others, EEIP collaborated in the series of studies prepared for the Ministry for Regional Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Professor Mejstrík also served in key consultative bodies of the Czech Government: National Economic Council (NERV) and the Government Council for Information Society (RVIS).
EEIP also cooperates with leading non-governmental institutions (USAID, Open Society Fund) on several international projects. EEIP thus had the opportunity to offer its expertise in shaping of a capital market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or in creating the regulatory framework for the management of investment funds in the Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
EEIP is one of the first companies in the region offering advisory services in the area of Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA). EEIP is a Czech market leader in the field of RIA documentation processing, training and other services related to RIA. The unique position of EEIP in the field of RIA consulting is given by the excellent orientation in the RIA’s legal anchoring at the national and EU level, high knowledge of methods of economic policy evaluation and by the networking of EEIP specialists with experts from the Charles University. Among the reference transactions belongs RIA of the Water Act or RIA of the proposals for the Monument Preservation Act and the Cinematography Act.
The issue of main impacts of European legislation on individual member countries and particular economic sectors is among the long-term interests of EEIP experts. EEIP specialists regularly present their findings at international forums and conferences related to the regulation and deregulation of capital and energy markets, regulatory impact assessment and corporate governance.
